Betradar announces new state lottery win for its Virtual Football solution

Betradar today announced that German lottery operator Lotterie-Treuhandgesellschaft mbH Hessen (Lotto Hessen) will deploy the company’s Virtual Football solution in its betting offer.

Since 2011, Betradar’s Virtual Sports Betting solution – Virtual Football has established itself as a superb concept thanks to the way it powerfully combines the latest in artificial intelligence and 3D animation. Featuring a robust continuous league system, Betradar’s Virtual Football solution has been successfully integrated with the systems of tens of operators around the globe and reached countless loyal customers worldwide. Lotto Hessen follows as the first state lottery to use Betradar’s Virtual Football solution.

In total, Betradar serves over 30 state lotteries on four continents with its extensive product and service portfolio. “Due to the ever increasing competition from the private sector, State Lotteries need to be innovative and introduce new services to attract new customer groups and especially younger players. Betradar’s impressive suite of entertaining and profitable gaming products perfectly fit our portfolio and future plans. In order to raise our service to a whole new level we decided to turn to market leader Betradar”, says Dr. Sundermann, CEO of Lotto Hessen.

The regional lottery operator Lotto Hessen is a member of the German Lotto and Toto block and offers a wide range of lottery, sports betting and instant games in the German market. Lotto Hessen employs over 180 employees at its headquarters in Wiesbaden. They are responsible for sales, customer relationship management and quality management for all retail outlets as well as for the logistical and technical processes. Almost 1.6 million gaming orders per week are processed under the highest security measures. They arrive from a network of more than 2,000 retail outlets and are seamlessly integrated into the headquarters’ data center. The company achieved a turnover of 587.3 million euros in 2013.

LOTTO Hessen extends its partner network

The technology, that initially will be available at petrol stations, is developed and delivered by the new cooperation partner GI Tech Gaming.

New partner GI Tech Gaming provides a tablet solution for scratch ticket sales

Wiesbaden, 09/15/2014. From the beginning of next year, lottery players in the state of Hesse will be able to purchase scratch tickets via off the shelf tablets. The technology, that initially will be available at petrol stations, is developed and delivered by the new cooperation partner GI Tech Gaming.

“After a thorough evaluation of several bids, we are glad to announce that we selected GI Tech Gaming with their partner Gaming Solutions to supply software and hardware for extension of our network”, says LOTTO Hessen’s managing director Dr. Heinz Georg Sundermann. “We will be able to use standard tablets to sell scratch tickets at our retailers which constitutes a very innovative process that does not exist in Germany´s gaming market yet.”
